ALEX
		I received a call from a local shelter telling me they had a sweet little male shih tzu.  I ,also, was told the people that had Alex just open the door to the shelter and threw him in the hallway, saying "they don't want him anymore."  Well, Alex is very much wanted by our rescue. He is one of the sweetest boys that has passed through our doors. Here is what we know about Alex: Name: ALEX Breed: Shih-Tzu Age: Senior approximately 10 years old Gender: Male S/N?: No yet, Alex will have to get much stronger before he can be neutered Weight: 9 lb    Alex should weigh 14 lb Vetting:  In the process of vetting Temperament: Sweet   Sweet  Sweet Housebroken: Other info: I had him shaved down.  His paws poured the blood from the matting and he was so dehydrated, Alex's  first night in rescue was spent at my vet, in the hospital.  He was on IV and special food.  His wt is 9 lb and he should wt around 14 lb.  Rt hind leg has some nerve damage Grade 4 heart murmur Mouth has burns on both sides, may have chewed into an electrical cord His body was 9% dehydrated Alex's teeth has lots of infection, the roots of the upper incisors are exposed cataracts on both eyes muscles --  atrophy We are waiting on the results of his blood test.
